Humble Ways Retreat Centre

Humble Ways is a Christian retreat centre situated on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth on the farm Ruwenzori, with its magnificent views of the ocean and indigenous forest.

With its abundant fynbos and bird life, the 150ha farm offers the ideal breakaway for groups and individuals who need a place of peace and quiet away from the noise, distractions and pressures of the city. Humble Ways offers an environment that is conducive to meditation and contemplation.

Since Humble Ways is used for spiritual purposes only, visitors will find their much needed rest in the quietness of the surroundings and in being one with nature.

Apart from the retreat centre, a small chapel situated within walking distance offers visitors a place for quiet time and prayer.

The retreat centre offers:
• Accommodation for individuals and groups
– maximum of 14 persons, minimum of 6 over weekends.
• Day groups of up to 22 persons.
• The centre has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and braai area.
• Visitors can also enjoy beautiful walks through indigenous fynbos.

Rates:
• Weekends:
R170 per person per night (minimum 6 people per night)
• Weekdays:
R140 per person per night (minimum 3 people per night)
• Day visitors:
R115 per person per day (minimum 8 people per day over weekends)
