St Luke's Retreat Centre Spiritual Retreats, Conferences & Workshops Accommodation for Groups & Individuals Weddings & Functions 10 Park Lane, Central, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) About Us The 3-storey building, located in Park Lane, Central, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) dates back to 1892 when it was built by the Nazareth Sisters to serve the orphans, the aged and the poor. In 2022 it was renovated and refurbished. Finding Serenity The garden at the back of the Retreat Centre invites for walks, prayer and reflection and relaxation time. St Luke’s has two chapels which are 24/7 to our guests for prayer and reflection and can seat up to 150 people. Retreats, Weddings and Functions We offer spiritual retreats on various themes throughout the year. Our venue also accommodates conferences, workshops, weddings and other functions. Meals are provided. Our Facilities 30 Guestrooms which can accommodate up to 72 guests are located on the 1st and 2nd floor in single, twin, triple and 4-bed rooms with either ensuite or communal bathrooms. The guest rooms are furnished with desks but do not have telephones or televisions. WI-FI is available throughout the building. Our Main Conference Hall can seat up to 150 persons depending on setup while our board room can seat up to 25 persons. The Main Hall has modern Audio and Video equipment available. The two dining rooms as well as several lounges and an outdoor patio area invite our guests to relax in their free time. More info and a virtual tour available on our website.
